1, 11, 14, 15, and 17. ^^
Thank you friend!1: What was your first cosplay?Light Yagami from Death Note.11: Which cosplay took you the longest time to make? The Joker took me over a year. The vest was my first sewing project and I spent a ton of time research theatrical makeup for the scars. The wig was possibly one of my best pieces ever: it's an Arda wig that I sharpie-colored to a gradiant, curled, cut, and slathered in pomade. It took so long. To be honest, I think Arabian Rin was more work overall, but I was hella motivated and just blazed through it.14: List all of your cosplays. Actually finished and worn to a con: Light Yagami, Marik Ishtar (and Marik Gaga from Leather Pants), the Joker (Dark Knight), Armin Arlert, Bertholdt Hoover, Rin Matsuoka (swimmer and Arabian AU). Tsukiyama Shuu is done and will be debuting at Katsucon in just over a week.15: Are you currently working on something?Haha I am currently procrastinating on something by being on Tumblr! I'm finishing up details on swimmer Rin (gotta finish those swim skins- it's a lot of hand-sewing ribbon) and cutting a wig for Kisumi Shigino. I'm headed to a con in just over a week, so Arabian Rin and Tsukiyama (my two biggest projects this year) are thankfully done! I might also try to pull together Jinpachi Toudou before Anime Boston, but we'll see how that wig goes.17: Do any of your IRL friends cosplay? Many of them. I met my best friends in college through cosplay. They saw my closet Armin Arlert cosplay and took me to a better place (Anime Boston 14, in particular. That was my big re-entry into the cosplay scene after some stagnation in late high school). We hang out almost daily and are doing Tokyo Ghoul and Free! groups together at cons this season. ;w; My sister and high school friends also cosplay and I keep in close touch with my convention friends.
Send me cosplay-related asks please!
