It just dawned on me that Armand’s day walking abilities may be a result of long term experimentations and studies done in collaboration with Fareed. There’s no one on earth who understands the thresholds of the immortal body as much as Fareed and I think he cracked the code on how vampires can daywalk. A whole new meaning for why Armand calls the sun a “mediocre star”.
That being said, I think Armand initially didn’t care for the sun, but he started caring when it came to stalking Daniel over the last 52 years. Night wasn’t enough for him anymore. He wanted to see him during the day too. Now given that Fareed is in his early 50s at most, there’s probably a 20-30 year research on this topic. Which means he and Armand have been affiliated for at least that long.
I like the possibility of Armand and Fareed having a rather intimate working relationship. He’s someone Armand can always trust and Fareed can also depend on him to introduce him to new test subjects.
Also we need a ship name.
Armeed? Farmand?
