Stop Motion Puppet Build (Part 1):
I started off making a guide for each puppet to decide the height’s of them, which is going to be helpful for scale association with my set as well as clothing design. I decided to twist wires for these puppet builds. The wires I’m using are 16 gauge armature wire and 20 gauge copper wire. I’ve learned that the copper wire can help to reinforce the strength and longevity. This is important for filming later on. I used epoxy putty to hold the sections of wire together and K&S tubing as joints for the parts. I plan on having removable parts since I will be making the hands and arms (possibly the legs) out of silicone.
