My professor recognised my Daggerfall shirt the other day??
I went up to ask a question during the break and he went, “The Elder Scrolls?” and I was like, “yeah haha,” and he went, “Daggerfall is before my time, but I played Morrowind to Skyrim.”
So I told him I had played Arena also! But that it was very grind-y. And that I had edited the character file so I didn’t have to spend two months building up XP to play the storyline. He commiserated about games like that and mentioned how Dragon Age: Inquisition is also a big time commitment.
I let him know Arena and Daggerfall are free on steam if he wants to give them a try too!
Tbh I wear the Daggerfall shirt whenever I wanna be comfy because it’s both physically comfortable (soft) and emotionally comfortable (special interest). But u never expected anybody to actually comment on it! Literally the highlight of my day I was so happy :]
I love being autistic and having a special interest the amount of joy that the elder scrolls brings me is unmatched. I love seeing anything relating to it and asking for my holiday gifts this year to be themed around tes was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Seeing my mehrunes dagger charm on my bag or drinking my sweetroll tea or making food from my tea cookbook just make me feel so safe and happy

Thats the mental illness. The lovely things about yourself from one person will also be what annoys another. If you start carving off what other people dont like eventually there will be nothing left.
