At this point I just want to ask people to use one of the other titles for the term and hopefully stick with that. I don't want the term having ties to dread anymore and at this point would appreciate if people just used dono or yannomei since the original purpose of the term was to put it under one name so everyone could find it easily and connect with eachother easily. I can't force people to do anything, but with so mamy names it feels like the term has lost its purpose and I would just prefer if people used yanno- or dono- from no on/nm/info - The Wife (yes it's me, I merely ask because a friend brought up all the names being confusing and I honestly agree.) 💌

While I hesitate to change the name of this archive so soon after it's first rename, if I notice one of the alternative prefixes being used over the others, I will be sure to do such.

Archival blog rename

Pt: Archival blog rename :End Pt

As some may have noticed, this archive has been renamed from "Arissodic-archive" to "Arizzodic-archive".

This has been done to respect the request of no longer using the prefix of "Arisso". Old links in the format of "arissodic-archive.tumblr.com" will redirect back to this blog to the post (or tag) in question but "www.tumblr.com/arissodic-archive" will not be able to be redirected. Because of this, a blog with the old url will have only one post, telling other that this archive has moved to this url. Tags will also be changed to "Arizzo" instead of "Arisso" as well. Tagging those that the archive feels would like to know

Hello, this an archive blog for the term Dissomei/Dissodic & sublabels underneath it's umbrella, originally coined by acetrappolaswife, with the term being maintained by kiruliom. Dissodic is defined as "A term that is specific for people with BIID, psychosis, being an alter that differs from the body, atypical dysphoria, etc. that causes them to have a disconnect in how they view their identity." This disconnect is involuntary as stated by the coiner. The coiner has also stated that the Dissodic label is not opposed if one's transition and/or dysphoria relief doesn't "hurt others, yourself, and/or appropriate, glorify, fetishize, or romanticize anything".

This term was originally coined as "Arissodic/Arissomei". Since the prefix of Arisso has been requested to not be used, this archive shall not use it when possible. This is also why older posts that have been archive use the prefix of "Arisso-" and variants of it.
