This ban would also help ban LGBTQIA books and OTHER books in the classroom as "obscene" if you bother to read the website. If a school posts a book the US does not like, despite the first amendment saying they can't do it, the US government will be able to defund the school entirely.
For those not in the US, private schools are for rich people. The majority of funding for public schools comes from tax dollars and states only make a percentage of federal funding. The poorer schools are PoC schools, this would effectively GUT funding for Black, Latine, and poor white schools, and likely cripple Indigenous School systems.

The DHS subpoenas include "legal requests for the names, email addresses, telephone numbers and other identifying data behind social media accounts that track or criticize the agency."
In one case, Google has been ordered to convey timestamps of a man's online history, including: "every known IP and physical address, his credit card, driverβs license, and Social Security numbers", etc.

There is heavy suspicion that the user sending all of this is someone known as Roadkill; the blog @antiroadkill has been documenting and following their antics. This user has a history of impersonation and of trying to tear communities apart through false, horrific accusations, intended to cause in-fighting. As of writing, these accusations have not been employed, but stay aware and watch out for them.

Roadkill, short for The Roadkill Fairy, is a serial harasser. They are not a troll, they're something far, far worse. If they find your weakness (body image issues, former eating disorders, etc) they will weaponize it and beat you over the head with it in an attempt to get you to relapse, injure yourself, or end your own life.
Roadkill follows no logic. They will completely flip from one post to another. One day fat people are disgusting and should all die, the next day they'll be calling skinny people ugly. They're constantly saying various users are transphobic while at the same time pulling shit like calling cis women men and trans men women.
Roadkill earned their title and nickname from their tendency to send people gory photos, typical of roadkill. But it has included everything from autopsy and surgery photos to murder scenes. They have also been known to send porn to people, some of which is AI generated images using their victims faces.
Roadkill has gotten their hands on at least one victim's contact information and has used this to harass them and their family. Going so far as to try to get the victim fired from their job, and worse.
Roadkill has a penchant for impersonation. At least attempted impersonation, as they're not very good at it and break character eventually. They will steal people's photos, artwork, and URLs. They will accuse other victims of "hacking" the original account, if it still exists.
Targets are chosen seemingly at random, often mining interactions on posts of current victims to find others and treats reblogging a random person's post as being close friends. They do this in an attempt to find vulnerable people that follow their primary victims and get them to block those victims.
I want to stress that it is not another victims fault if you get caught up in this. Blocking the other victim will not make the harassment stop. You are only feeding into the harassment. You are being used. Report and block the harasser, not the victim.
Roadkill is not harmless. They are aggressive and obsessive. They will make new accounts and try new tactics.

make sure youre on your main account, go to the wheel on the top right
from there, go to account settings
then scroll all the way down to the bottom and there will be a "report abuse" button with a flag
when filling out the form, there is a section for gore/mutilation. you can only provide one url at a time and you'll need to describe what is happening (no need to look as radio has provided context). you will also need to provide your email as well. its good to do two separate reports with each url thats presently known. i hope this helps!!!
