https://exactitudes.com/collectie/ : In 1994, a Dutch photographer named Ari Versluis and his collaborator Ellie Uyttenbroek were asked to document the youth culture in the Netherlands. They proceeded on photographing a series of adolescents in the Netherlands that were also similar to each other in terms of clothes and looks. Because the project was successful, they started a new one which is now known as "Exactitutes”. It is currently ongoing and has 154 different series where each series documents a different group’s style. Some examples of their series’ are; the preschoolers in Beijing, the fur-coat-wearing women in Milan and even the “hipsters” of Amsterdam. These artists have made an huge influence on my own project, as my concept for my project is quite similar to theirs. I liked how they wanted to show a distinct pattern within their photographs, which is what I aim to do as well.

This intensive two-week workshop combines a theoretical & practical photography experience with philosophical backgrounds, social references, political and cultural attitudes, as well as fashion and lifestyle perspectives. Educators and trainers are Peter York, Nicolás Santos, Charl Landvreugd, KALTBLUT and some more professionals from the international field of arts, fashion, science and human research.
