there's just subtle arison undertones in that scene with aria and mike talking about mona, and he's telling aria, "you know what it's like" and mike paralleling him and mona to aria and alison and all these people memoralizing someone they never knew the way certain people (aria and mike) did and pretending they were such good people. and the "she wasn't nice. anyone can be nice. there will never be anyone like her." and aria sympathizing with that despite her feelings on mona, but that's how she felt when alison was "dead" its just very interesting to draw a parallel/connection between a canon relationship and a friendship. I'm just saying if this is making any sense here at all
