Arilès De Tizi, was born in 1984 at Hussein Dey in Algeria. When the civil war broke out at the age of 6 years old, he moved with his family to France. He spent his youth in a suburb of Paris and eventually moved into the city to the famous district of Belleville, and shortly afterwards to Barbès. It is in the Parisian streets where he started to practice Graffiti and master photography. Thanks to his passion for creation and self expression, he was able to travel around the world. For a while he worked in advertising, and at the end of 2011 he decided to devote his work and time to his own art in an autodidact way: Painting, writing, drawing, photography, and sculpture. His work is deeply inspired by his expatriation He explores the tensions of urban dualities, Depicting the multicultural world by confronting : the intimate versus the collective and the rules of politic versus the rules of the sacred.
