So this is one of those things where you can wake up from the worst nightmare and still head off to work with a smile on your face. Thank you so much cupcake, especially the smile thing. I have a weird relationship with my smile.

This means a lot cupcake. 

Honestly, on most days I feel the same way but something the incessant cries of others drown out the truth in our own heads. 

I will say that it is hard not being taken seriously by other writers simply because I’m currently invested in writing fanfiction. It wears on the soul to frequently be told that what you’re working on, investing a piece of yourself in, is fruitless and pointless and doesn’t matter to anyone and is hurting your chances of being a real writer in the long term. It just, well, sucks. And sometimes it’s hard to ignore.

So this actually raises an interesting point - replies on Ao3. It’s ultra-fantastic to hear that you like that I do that. It was only mid-way through 30Days that I realized that most people don’t do it and then some people accused me of trying to ‘pad my statistics’. 

Honestly, I just thought people would like to get comments back.

So, to the general community, do people like that I always comment back? Or is it something people don’t want? Because it takes a butt-ton of time and I don’t want to break some rule that I was unaware of…

Mostly I’m just highly impressed that, with the exception of Beneath the Boots and Leather (which hadn’t been written when you sent this). You asked for more of the same stories that everyone wants more of. 

Dimwit Squad water balloon fight was actually really really high on my list but then I totally burnt out and couldn’t do it justice :(

However, this prompt was on my mind when I wrote War of the Windows. So you can see a piece of it there! Especially because that my favourite bit of the whole story :)

Honestly, I’m not really comfortable writing NSFW personally. Like, the tiny vague mention in Dandelion Promises was enough to make me squirm uncomfortably.
