i got the limited edition bc it was the best deal so far (game + exclusive content + cool extra stuff + expansion passes for like $5 more than the game + expansion pack), most places are sold out of it now but i think? walmart and places have it still i dunno

hotels rarely keep the same staff long and the quality of the hotel depends on the quality of the staff. at the hotel I use to work at I could look at the reviews on a timeline and clearly see when one of the best housekeepers was out from surgery
You're right, the staff and how they keep and organize the place is what makes the difference most of the times. And it's also true that many people come and go and therefore one might get luckier than another who books in a different period.
Yet it's also true that sometimes tourists do exaggerate. I've been lucky enough to being able to travel quite a bit, so I've seen my fair share of places, from basic structures to really great hotels. Sometimes I read such bad reviews that I feared I'd find a dump instead of a hotel but it turned out most of those comments where uncalled for. Says it all the fact that if you go to the Tripadvisor page of the Radisson Blu of Berlin you can find people who actually say "don't go there". These kind of reviews make me wonder how these people live their life and where they live it in the first place, maybe at Buckingham Palace, I don't know.
So it really depends also with what kind of attitude one travels. If they're half as picky as italians are, then we're all fucked.
