This was one of the very first loose leaf teas I tried, back when I was first setting out on my tea journey back in 2012. The blend is rich, deep, and flavorful, with solid comfort to heal a fandom’s collective aching heart. Combining solid earl grey flavor with decadent hazelnut and caramel, this tea is the drinkable equivalent of being draped with a heavy blanket.

The earl grey flavor is most distinct and prominent. It provides a strong, hearty base for the taste. Yet, the flavor blends seamlessly with the undertones of hazelnut and caramel, which round out the taste and provide that subtle sweetness. Though not distinct on their own, there’s no missing the complexity that they add to the blend. Earl grey often runs the risk of being overpowering, but the hazelnut and caramel combo hold their own and serve a definite purpose in providing a rich, creamy roundness.
