Alareekah by Nouf Awad Algarne
Areekah is a popular delicious dish in the Southern Region. It is easy to prepare and it is very healthy especially in winter. It's eaten in occasions and holydays. It's served in restaurants but it's not delicious as much as when it's home made.
Ingredients:
Flour. Water. salt. dates. Honey and Margarine.
How to prepare:
Note: the quantities are decided depending on the number of guests. Add salt as desired Add clean the water. The amount of water is less than the amount of flour slightly. Then, knead the dough till it becomes a cake mixture. Put it in a preheated tray. Cover over low heat until dough is cooked. Then, start pressing the dough until it becomes soft.
After that, move it to a bowl. Finally, make a hole in the center, fill it with ghee and honey, and put dates around it.
