My Aphrodite and Ares designss!!
Cuz i wanna draw them being in love so bad they are my favorite greek myth couple.
Wanted to design them both for such a long while now that my wrist has healed and my mid terms have concluded i want to just see em 👁👁

A summer party maybe? Reminding everyone once again that you can't take some beings anywhere. I think Minoan attire might be a favorite for the shapes and colors (though I used the ancient technique of artistic liberties), so for now I might stick with that influence for Aphrodite. The pose was from Conan the Barbarian (with some changes), so that's why Ares looks like that. Conan's look did have some loose similarities (like a necklace, bracelets, and the sword [which I changed to a Xiphos]). I didn't do buckets of research, but I can't tell if the tit's out thing was seasonal, class related, or just artistic liberties from the time. Either way it's Aphrodite so she can show off her boobs as a treat.

It's "We're ignoring what's currently canon because, no thank you to that" time!! Given the anarchistic nature of time in the comic when everyone post the big six came into existence is up for debate, and Eros' appearance in the "80s" means that his parents had to have met before the "70s", but I like the fashion of this time period so I can do what I want. In general when Aphrodite pops up in myth it seems like most of the big players are already born (hence Zeus worrying about potential wars for her attention). Though in Lore Olympus that still leaves a lot of wiggle room. Maybe I’ll draw that one day.
