Peter hadn't wanted to do this but sometimes you had to do things you'd almost die to avoid. This was one of those times. He couldn't say no to Mary Jane. Not without a good reason. She didn't know anything that had been happening in New York since she left. She certainly didn't know who Spider-man really was and more importantly, she had no idea what had really happened to Gwen. Or how he and Harry were involved with that She, like everyone else, thought it was just an accident.     So when Mary Jane had brought up visiting     Harry Peter had been hesitant. Because if there     was one person Peter would go to the ends of     the earth to avoid it was Harry Osborn. Yet Mary     Jane thought they were all still friends.     The tension in the room was obvious. Peter could     barely look at Harry. They might have been friends     in days gone past but him murdering Gwen put a     rift in the relationship that would never be mended.  & he wasn't going to be the first to speak   he had nothing worth saying anyway. He   wasn't going to be the first to break the silence
