AIA CHICAGO CONVENTION: Architects Abroad - Panel Information
Nancy Horne, Principal of NDH Search will be a featured Panelist at the AIA Chicago Booth on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2pm CST. Come join Nancy and other industry colleagues as they discuss:
Architects Abroad: Finding Talent to Work on Your International Projects
Long-distance or local? If you have – or want to have – projects outside the US, will those projects be designed and managed by staff in the U.S. or in the project country? Will you send a U.S. architect to the project site or recruit a local professional? How do clients, especially foreign clients, view these options? Do they prefer a local architect, an American architect, or an American-trained architect with strong personal connections to the project country or continent? Do the answers to these questions vary by region? Discussing this topic will be:
Patricia Rotondo, Assoc. AIA, Assoc. IIDA, Principal for interiors at Chipman Design Architecture Inc., based in Des Plaines, IL, with an office in Bogotá.
James Zheng, AIA, LEED AP, President of Goettsch Partners, Inc., based in Chicago with offices in Shanghai and Abu Dhabi.
Nancy Horne, Principal of NDH Search, a worldwide strategic recruiting and professional placement firm for architects and designers, based in Los Angeles.
