Teemo looked up, when Kenith started mumbling. While she might not have asked him to come along, she had done nothing to stop him, either. She had simply not talked to him, and he was fine with that. She was one of the people who he liked to spend quiet moments with - partly, because he voice was unsetteling, once one found out, that she indeed was not speaking through a device that distorted her voice. But also, because she had a calming presence - something about her, that put people at ease.

But now, she was just confusing him. Not that he was very adapt in Runeterra’s different languages, but this one… this just sounded strange. And then the glowing eyes… that didn’t happen too often.

As unpleasant as Kenith’s voice  was to him, this relentless static sound in a volume that didn’t seem to be able to get any quieter, he liked her stories for what they were: memories from days past. There were plenty, surely some she didn’t talk about - Kenith had lived for a very long time. But then there were some she was all to eager to tell. Stories of success and failure, stories of change and consequence. There were lessons to be learned from them, and that was the reason they were so memorable.

Teemo relaxed a bit when he came to understand that she wouldn’t stop narrating. He wondered what point this one would have. What he would keep in mind the most. And what had caused her to break her silence. She had been looking at him, without any perceptible facial expression and then just started talking. Not that it wasn’t a good situation for that  now - it was a quiet evening, and it promised to be a quiet night.

Oh, well. He would find out soon.
