Do you mean rescuing Penny, or during his dinner? Because those are different checks.
I meant rescuing Penny, but I think Nonny might have meant at his dinner, because it is clearly not a persuasion check; she has much higher likability than persuasion, and when sheâs not murmuring polite nothings, she invariably tells the truth.Â
/terrible Princess, oh my gosh, 0 cunning/manip, not that high on politics either ... Â she just wants to curl up in the library with Lyon and her history books and never talk to anyone else ever again.
Well. Yvette and Emmet and Penelope and Cordelia can come visit, if theyâd like.Â

ew. my sympathies. (Iâve never not had an acceptable level of any of them before? Even if it was just one, it felt way less scathing. Then again, I donât think itâs possible to escape the first Matchmaker meeting without feeling vaguely like youâve been kicked in the head, so? *hugs*)

I WILL NEVER NOT LOVE THIS i wish i could articulate it it's like oh i think it's that it's the flip side, you know?
like my cullenmance was very sweet and generally innocent and NORMAL although there's hardship, yes, and difficulties, and things lurking beneath the surface that could go wrong--but they help and heal each other without going down those paths
but you're going down those paths and exploring the darker undersides and healings-that-could-be-if-only and it's ALL true like both sides of this romance coin are true and yes good yes
aralkve;
thank you
I think thatâs the thing Iâm really worried about, on some levels, that it still rings true? Because Theia is objectively a terrible person. Which fits DAI really well, tbqh, since pretty much /the entire cast/ (THE ENTIRE GAME) is about seeking redemption and whether or not itâs a thing you can ever actually earn, Blackwallâs Revelations just being the most overt example of it. THE WHOLE GAME THO.
You know, thatâs probably why, despite my issues with it feeling half done and paced terribly, I still love the game? Because that is totally my favorite of all the things. (Itâs why Theiaâs weird AU canon still fits, and why she and Ingva share a timeline. Redemption and second chances, especially when you donât deserve them.)

JSYK, I blame you entirely for the way this show crawled into my heart. I would have been perfectly fine and wouldn't be eternally sobbing over my perfect found family and ultimate OT3 if I hadn't seen it on your blog :P
YESSSS <3
*COME TO MY ARMS*
/I seem to have done this to a few people. I am proud, and delighted to have the company in feels-hell. :D

I've been doing a rewatch the last couple of weeks because of all the excellence on tumblr and SO MANY FEELS. I had forgotten JUST HOW MUCH I loved this show and how great it is.
