10 Tage waren wir jetzt klettern in Arapiles. Die Finger sind wund, die Arme tun weh. Heute legen wir noch mal einen Ruhetag ein und entspannen im warmen Kinderbecken im Public-Pool. Morgen geben wir uns dann nochmal den Rest, bevor es für uns am Sonntag wieder on the road geht.....:-)

Wir sind am Mt. Arapiles gelandet, in Victoria. Mt. Arapiles ist DAS Klettermekka, es gilt als das beliebteste und bekannteste Klettergebiet in Australien. Gemütlich erreicht man vom Campingplatz eigentlich alle Routen zu Fuss, die Routen, zwischen 1 und 6 Seillängen, sind meist Trad, auch die Stände sind selbst abzusichern. Nur selten gibt es Abseilpisten, wenn es keinen Abstieg gibt. Seit 5 Tagen sind wir kletternd unterwegs und heute legen wir einen Ruhetag in Horsham ein, wo wir das Schwimmbad besuchen und unsere Vorräte aufstocken. Ein bisschen bleiben wir aber noch, weil es so schön ist......
