Has Saber ever voiced her opinion on being raised a boy? Has it ever been said whether she prefers to live as a boy (because it might be familiar to her) or does she prefer to live as a girl (because it's now an option)? A lot of Fate material seems to emphasize that, both in the past and present, she is a woman and is treated as such, but has Saber ever said anything about it?
not that i recall. there's the famous interview where urobuchi and nasu talk about how writing saber is like writing "a boy who became a girl" and a lot to be said and interpreted from fate route's themes but i don't remember any like, explicit in-story discussion of how she personally feels about her gender. only thing that comes to mind is her feeling self conscious about her "muscular" (lol) body when shirou accidentally walks in on her bathing in fate route but that's arguably from a position of worrying about the preferences of someone she likes more than outright discomfort with her body. if she actually said how she feels about it at any point i think the saber gender arguments would look very different (they wouldn't stop though mordred will never be free)
