Aquarion Logos: What the hell guys?! (Possible spoilers)
So, I’m watching through the Aquarion series again, adding the latest additions to the verse and I’m kinda failing to understand why they would take Logos in the direction it’s going in. The first two series follow the same concept of humans against shadow angels and hints big towards reincarnation, often taking the same character concepts and reinventing them. But in Logos, there are no shadow angels, no Fudo, and no raging hormones between the main characters. I’m kinda wondering if I’m watching a show from the same fandom. Sure, they’re using vectors and combining them into the mechanical angel Aquarion, but they’re battling words...WORDS. I keep watching it to see if it gets any better, but I’m not keeping my hopes up. I mean, the only episode they kept to the main story of the series was the first one, then HUGE shift into what it will be for the rest of the season. The first episode, I was like, “Yeah, this is something I could get into”, then it did a total 180. This series broke all the rules that made the first two series great. I want to see if it’ll get better, but I’m not really liking it so far. Why reinvent the wheel that turns just fine?
