TOKYOEYE @ LAKME FW 2011
Due to the tragic events that occurred earlier this month in Japan, scheduled fashion week events were postponed. Several Japanese designers appeared at the Tokyoeye show during Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, India.

Designers ARAI SARA, MOTONARI ONO, and SOMARTA participated in a traditional fashion show. It was quite interesting to see Japanese design on Indian models and we hope to see more of this in the future!
The above labels along with APTFORM, LIGHT ON EARTH and TYAKE TYOKE were presented in a separate exhibition. With well over 1,100 visitors and international press coverage, the project drew many supporters despite the news of the earthquake.
