Where once was love, now a thousand pieces, swim through my head, settle into the nooks, of my heart, I cannot rid myself off, dust that floats, little ghosts in the attic, they knock at 3am, haunting me, is it an angel or devil at the door? I'll bury those fragments, sow seed into an empty grave, mix gravel, spiderwebs and prayers, into a patient porridge, it takes time for a thousand beginnings, to spring out, but it also needs some action. • • Time without action cannot heal. You have to constantly work on getting better, moving on. Moulding clay in small but precise little strokes gives far better results than a violent digging with sharp tools. • There are so many prompts for this month, so I had to dive into them, but I also don't want to overwork myself into posting multiple poems throughout the day, so I read them and here is how my subconscious wove them together, it turned out much better than I expected. • Day 2 prompts • Ghosts in the attic - #31daysofhalloweenprompt #purgehendrixprompt hosted by @purgetraumapoet and me • Pieces #elooctober19 by @eloquencyatitsbest • angel or devil - beginnings Halloween prompts hosted by @iampoetrymagazine • Once was love #octoberwhiskey19 fall prompts by @whiskeyandpens • Spiderwebs @alchemical.poetica 's Spooky prompts #apspookyprompts • haunting me @a_poets_life hosts some fun fall prompts #apoets31fallprompts • empty grave @innerglowpoetry has some really good prompts #igpoct19 • #halloween19 #halloweenpoetry #writingprompts #promptlist #inktober #inktober19 #octoberprompts #promptchallenge #writingcommunity #writingchallenge #prompt #poetryprompts #apoemaday https://www.instagram.com/p/B3HpvZWFPTZ/?igshid=j06iiopsmkn
