Do I believe what @aprilefff​ has claimed in her allegations? Nope. Do I believe in Tobys video statement? Nope.

You see, I have my own sense of agency that extends to not taking anything as fact UNTIL it has been proven to be a fact.

And this is a similar way Police Investigators work too. The popular feminist narrative that a rape/sexual assault victim won’t be believed by the police is insidious and counterproductive to what feminists are supposed to want.

The Police have no other duty but to gather as much evidence and investigate any and all claims from an unbiased perspective. They aren’t there to judge guilt or innocence.

That is for a jury of your peers to decide, they decide guilt or innocence based on facts presented to them.

THEY DECIDE! Not you, not me and not the rabid, gullible social media.

A lot of this so called “evidence” is based on opinion. Sorry to break it to you, but opinion isn’t fact.

This is my opinion. I am directly related to someone who has communicated with Toby and has even spent a week with him at his house.  This person hasn’t decided if they want to be dragged into anything publicly yet, as is their right, especially with all the contemptible comments/action by his “fans”.

Their experience with Toby is directly in conflict with the negative stories that are coming out in the last few days. 

The reason why I mention this fact as part of my opinion is because, while I could prove what I said to be true, I can’t without this persons permission. So I am not trying to pass it off as fact.......yet.

The “fans” I have seen posting under the related tags on here and mentions/hashtags on Twitter are mostly the leg snapping, knee-jerking reactionary kind.

I have seen everything from. “Innocent until proven guilty doesn’t apply to to cases involving sexual assault” “He seemed a bit...rapey” “He has that look about him” “April has undeniable proof” “So many women have spoken out”

And the favourite to make my blood boil. “If you follow/support Toby Turner unfollow/unfriend me now”

Innocent until proven guilty applies to EVERY CASE OF EVERYTHING, it HAS to, that is the protection we have against false imprisonment.

Imagine someone made an allegation about you, wouldn’t you want to be presumed innocent until proven guilty? I bet you would, hypocrisy isn’t a flattering colour on you.

As far as I am aware, there is no proven expression that can be called “rapey” nor can any such opinion be classed as a fact.

You seem like a vapid, gullible, intellectually retarded person to me, but as much as I believe it to my very core, I can’t prove it to be fact. (You being the echo chamber dwelling tumblr user)

April has a couple of screenshots of texts. That’s not proof, texts can be very easily faked, contact names can be substituted and without full context those texts don’t really prove anything.

And my opinion on this point is based on the knowledge that I have heard a shortened version Seths story before, without names though. And it was quite a while ago, long before this allegation came up.

Some women have come out and said about drug use and all round shitty behavior towards them and others, but that doesn’t prove rape does it?

Not that I am in any way suggesting that the behaviour is excusable, cause it isn’t. Shitty behaviour is deplorable regardless to whom it is directed. Including all the hate directed towards April and others.

The ridiculous statement of “unfollow me if...” and all it’s variations are some of the most vacuous, feigned moral grandstanding statements I have read.

AND THIS FROM HIS FANS?? With fans like that, who would ever want an enemy? You are the perfect example of weak-willed, herd mentality, pitchfork wielding ignoramuses I have ever had the misfortune to witness.

It is entirely possible to support a victim of sexual assault/rape without throwing the accused to the wolves.

What does such an action say about you as a person. To me it says you have little to no empathy, no capability to think for yourself, no courage in your convictions, actions or opinions. It says you are a blank slate to be written on by anyone, an easily manipulated fucktard.

Also, isn’t it completely hypocritical to demand the action of another person? To remove their agency....... Think about it!

I’m not even a fucking fan of Toby, I have seen a couple of his videos but I’m not into his style.

So why am I offering up an opinion you may ask?

if you continuously and blindingly idolize someone accused of sexual assault, among other terrible things, and disregard the victim(s) because ‘they never went to the police’ or because the accused’s mother came forward and said ‘no, they didn’t do this’ or even after multiple sources have come forward to say they believe this type of behavior is very like in this person;
