Basically this is a demonstration of how each voting system works and what results it produces based on your ballots.
It's very neat! If you've ever thought to yourself that you wanted to be able to vote third party, this also shows which voting system makes those choices more likely to win (assuming that each voter is truthful throughout).

There are multiple other ways to make our democracy better that wouldn't be too radical to adopt. After sharing quite a few ranked-choice voting pieces, this seemed appropriate.
The popularity of ranked-choice voting as an "alternative" to first past the post voting frustrates me.
I'd be surprised if it wasn't a psyop to prevent an actual better voting system from gaining momentum.
The problem with ranked choice is that it isn't different enough. Sure, it lets you vote for what you really want and still support a more likely winner, but ultimately all of the third parties get pruned out of the running anyway so it doesn't really do that much to solve the two-party problem.
If you want to actually loosen the two-party stranglehold, go approval voting. Voters give a vote to all candidates they find acceptable, as many or as few as they like.
This is the better option because if everyone gets the same result, the best candidate is the one the most people can agree on, not the one with the biggest fan club.
