CHAPTER 1: Love and shopping.
You enter the shop searching for someone who can help you with your magic problems. You ring the bell and immediately, an elve who looks a little startled, runs to his spot. He smiles to you shyly and coughs.
—How may I help you?
You smile back and start talking about the plants you need.
—I need something to my insomnia. You know.
He hums and walks towards a shelves.
—I have the solution for you! Here.
After getting in his hands the plant, he walks to you and smiles again.
—A gift from me.
He immediately blushes.
—Don't think I'm being weird I just-- Um, you seem nice.
You laugh sweetly at him. You saw him around the town, but he seemed busy, also he was always frowning. You don't want to judge, but you were a little bit scared. Seeing him blushing is a blessing to your eyes.
—Thanks! You are cute!
He starts fidgeting with his hands and blushes even more. He tries to make a joke that sounds weird, but for you it's still cute. You don't know him well, but it's clearly he's bad talking with people.
He sees you not laughing but smiling and tries to apologize.
—Oh god! I'm sorry, was that too much? Or maybe I'm being weird again?
You laugh. Why is he that cute?
—Oh, no no, it's really okay.
He looks at me surprised. It's the first time someone is genuinely nice to him or maybe I'm thinking about it too much?
—So, I don't know your name yet, pretty boy.
He blushes deeply again. Help, he's so cute, isn't he?
—I'm K-Kim!
—I'm y/n, nice to meet you!
—Tell me, Kim. Would you like to come to the theater with me tonight?
—Yes!
He answers excited.
—It's a date, then.
—But a friendly date or... You know?
He laughs nervously, trying to avoid your gaze. You smile putting aside the plants in your bag.
—Let's see where this will end.
You wink and exit the shop, feeling your cheeks burn. Okay you seemed sure of doing it, but nerves are still present.
You actually got a date with him! You really thought he will be more stoic, but seeing him smiling and blushing sure made your day.

You walk impatient throwing glances at your mirror to see if your outfit could surprise Kim. You really want to. Plus, his expressions are really endearing.
—Y/n you look good, stop.
Asra is smiling, seeing you this excited by a date is really cute. You haven't been this happy since that day Arsa bought you a new outfit.
—But what if he doesn't like it? What if he thinks I'm not eno--
The magician stops you with a "sh"
—Y/n, following what you said about him, he seems to be more than okay with everything you wear.
—But--
—It seems he likes you.
You sigh.
—Okay, yes, I can feel he likes me, too, but I still want to impress him!
—Okay. Let's see what I have here.
Asra disappears and you sit in your chair, sighing again. Why are you this excited? He's just a guy who can make you feel butterflies in your stomach every time he smiles. Okay, maybe you really know why.
You feel your cheeks burn again.
—I just met him this morning! Although I saw him around so many times... Still! He is just another magician, right?
Asra interrupts your thoughts showing with beautiful clothings in their arms.
—I got you this!
You admire them and happily, you try them on.
—Perfect! Thanks, Asra!
You hug them and exit your house. It's still early, but you can't wait to meet him.

You arrive fifteen minutes earlier, but it surprise you the fact that Kim is already there. He wears a beautiful black suit. He has a flower in his hand and he's looking at the floor. You approach to him and sit down beside him.
—Were you waiting for long?
He makes a little jump and looks at you startled. That was definitely the cutest thing ever.
—N-No! I mean yes! But it's not your fault! I was so excited that I came thirty minutes earlier!
You laugh and bump your shoulder with his.
—Good! It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
He blushes and coughs. He gives you the flower and closes his eyes.
—ThisisforyouIhopeyoulikeit!
He talks so fast that you have to laugh. Seeing him this nervous is kind of cute.
—It's lovely, thank you!
You take the flower and brush his hands, feeling how he's shaking. You can understand him. Although you are not shivering, but your heartbeats are crazy bumping into your chest.
—I'm glad you like it... So, should we get going to take a good side of the play?
You nod.
—Let's go!
You cross you arm with his and start walking towards the entrance to the theater.
After getting your sits, you both assemble yourselves in the third row of chairs. Tonight's play is one of your favorite. A really fast summary, a couple that rule their kingdom with justice and love.
The play goes smoothly and Kim seems to be really invested. That invested that he's crying. The guy is dying and his lover is trying to save him.
You glance to him and try to take away his tears brushing your thumb in his cheek. He looks at you surprised and blushes again.
—Was I crying too much?
You nod.
—It's okay. You like the play, right?
—Yeah! It's amazing. How the both of them are that compressive with each other. How they comfort the other one when they're blue... I love it.
You smile and take his hand in yours.
—You're so cute when you're that concentrated.
He blushes even more and tries to stop his tears. He takes a big puff of air and looks at you directly at your eyes. Even when he's that shy, his gazes penetrates your core, making your knees weak and making you feel butterflies in your stomach... again.
—I--Um... Y/n, can I kiss you?
He asks trying not to avoid your gaze. You look at him and let go his hand so you can cup his face with both of your hands.
—Absolutely.
Both of you close your eyes and your lips meet in the middle. You can feel his smile. You also can taste coffee in his lips. It's actually so sweet. You let go a sigh you didn't know you were retaining. You feel his lips opening a little, letting your tongue in. You hear a little groan scaping from Kim and before this goes to far, you both separate immediately taking a big puff of air.
—That was... Really something.
He laughs and you join him, feeling like you were floating.
You keep watching the play and after it, you keep him company until you finally reach his house. You both stop in front of his shop.
—Thanks for this night, Kim.
He smiles at you.
—I should be thanking you instead.
—I hope this means you still want to come on dates with me.
You wink and take his hand in yours.
—I had so much fun tonight, y/n. I really want to keep going on dates with you! Also I, um, like your company.
—I'm glad you like me.
—This morning, when I saw you, I was... surprised. I saw you many times around the market. I-- You really seemed nice but I was too shy to talk to you!
—Oh, Kim. I can say the same. Although you were always frowning.
He laughs sweetly. God, how can someone be that adorable?
—Yes, I must admit... I'm not always smiling.
You can feel how he's relaxing by the time you talk. You feel happy and proud at the same time. You made him feel comfortable socializing.
—Then I'll make you smile more. I love seeing you smiling. You look really cute.
Kim blushes again and with his left hand, he relocate his tie.
Before you can say anything, a shadow appears in front of both of you.
—Are you Kim?
The mentioned one nods startled.
—You must come with me.
The figure reveals their face and you gasp.
—Countess Nadia?
—May I know who you are?
You gulp and nod
—I'm his partner.
Nadia nods and sigh.
—Then you must come with me, too. You'll both have to aid me. I'll explain while we walk. Shall we?
You both nod and start walking along side the Countess who talks about some murder in her palace.
