Support diverse industries. Support the world inside your bubble and outside. There are many small artists and small companies who may have your next favorite painting, or perhaps your next favorite movie. Maybe that artist from another country has the best song you'll ever hear in your life (fuck, Tinariwen was one of my favorite discoveries of last year and it's a band that has absolutely nothing to do with my own culture, all the way in the Sahara), maybe that man who sells little trinkets by the street you pass by has the best backstory you'll hear in a long while.

The world is huge, it's wonderful, and full of history. Meet my culture, meet yours, meet thousands of others that exist and keep going until you have found a new understanding for everything. Be nuanced, understand that everything has a good and a bad, and yet strive for the good. Meet Persephone, but also meet Inti and Maitreya and Anubis.

The internet is vast, it's huge, and you'll meet so many people and so many cultures and so many beautiful things.
