Sparklehorse - Apple Bed (No Vocals, Ambient Cover) by Nzo This cover doesn't sound overly like the original aside from the guitar chords and drum pattern. Personally I don't want to make identical covers as I don't see much of a point, you have the original piece of music for that. I mainly wanted to teach myself some chords to play on my electric guitar and learn more about time scales and how they can keep music more interesting to listen to. I want to attempt to recreate some of my favourite folk/indie rock/post-rock tracks to teach myself some more guitar playing and timescale techniques. For this I used Sparklehorse's initial guitar chord sequence alongside its timescale, I then tried to recreate the same drum pattern again to his timescale. The rest of the cover is my own creation, I really like ambient pieces and tried to recreate this in the style of artists such as The Album Leaf etc.
