OutFit7, Sprint and Yahoo Join Growing Apps Alliance Membership
The Apps Alliance announced today that two major app publishers and one of the world’s largest wireless carriers have joined its ranks. Outfit7, Sprint, and Yahoo! are three of the latest companies to become Alliance members. The Alliance continues to grow rapidly and spans the diverse app economy, with a membership of more than 170 companies ranging from startups to the world’s largest mobile platforms and manufacturers. America’s Innovators Need Patent Litigation Alternative
Today the App Developers Alliance briefed Senate staff on the need to expand the Covered Business Method (CBM) patent review program. CBM provides a less expensive, faster, administrative alternative to patent litigation, but currently, it only applies to financial services business method patents.
