a dystopian au in which harry, an ex-soldier whoâs escaped from his government run camp, accidentally stumbles across the biggest rebel movement in the country, and louis, one of the rebellionâs mysterious leaders who appears to hate him, seems to simultaneously have an obsession with keeping him alive. or: harry is wanted for treason, niall hasnât changed in four years, liam is always smiling, and louis is angry. like, really angry.

The sound of Anneâs voice was enough for him, he thinks. Now itâs just a matter of coping. He wonders if heâs got the strength to ignore the pain in his chest for that long, until the end of his life, he presumes.
