First of all: sorry for being so far behind! i don’t even know what day we’re on to be honest but i’ll figure it out lol. if you don’t know, i just went through a big move and am currently in the stressful part of it, so that’s why i couldn’t keep up.

What excites you the most about your secondary WIP?

Ooh. Everything? I just think What Do People Do After The World Ends? is such a cool fucking idea. I’m so excited to get working on it but I’ve actually hit a little block because I have absolutely no idea how to format the book or the outline. It’s kind of like Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks (isn’t that funny), where it’s fiction written like nonfiction.

After The World Ends is supposed to be written like a research study-- the narrator, Harper, is a sociologist. The chapters consist of mostly short stories/flash fiction, but there’s also interviews with various OCs, and other things like that. I’m not sure if a book like this would follow the traiditonal introduction, rising action, breaking point, climax, resolution, or if I need to try a different style and gathering research on it is so fucking hard.

so seriously, if you have any tips or resources, please let me know!

Marian: mid-40s, 0% femininity by volume, scars like she picked a fight with a wood chipper that was currently on fire

Sal: late-30s, good looking, no solid personal aesthetic but always looks cohesive regardless of style

Kent Bardsley: early-30s, should probably have a broken nose or a black eye at any given time, tall as hell

Glipix: she has some number of hands, at least one mouth(s), and at least one eye(s), and does not have breasts. go nuts, alien fans, no other limits

Cannibal Jack: early 40s, whatever horrible smug bartender you can imagine that’s CJ, wears glasses

Sunrise: late 50s, usually wearing a plague mask but braids her (mostly grey) hair underneath it, has tattoos

Owl: early 20s, has huge goggle lenses he can’t take off because his eyes are mechanical, feel free to go full inspector gadget with him
