What do you want from your education?
I want passion. I want a fun and inventive way of learning and obtaining information that will stick with me for a long time. I don’t want memorization and regurgitation, I want to be able to learn something without just memorizing it. I want an environment beyond the desks and the chairs, I want a way of learning that I don’t have to question why i’m doing it, I just know it’s where i’m supposed to be.

So i finished my book (again) and im partially proud of myself and partially terrified for what we are going to have to next. like death lmao im rlly tired. So anyway this section was talking about spiritualists got rich off of doing the whole talking to the dead thing. which made me think about like death as an industry. because funeral homes and morgues and graveyards make money off of death, and there are a bunch of secondary industries related to it.Which seems odd? I guess because death is such a personal thing its weird to think of it in an economic context, but you really cant die for free. I googled" make money of death” but that not give me what i wanted to see so i googled funeral industry like i should have in the first place and i found this article at pbs and it breaks how people make money off death and its got a lot of graphics so pretty helpful thanks pbs http://www.pbs.org/pov/homegoings/economics-of-the-funeral-industry/
