Although it really shouldn’t, having a poster for your film makes things, official!
The poster isn’t what made my very first documentary feature film possible though, literally over a hundred people (and counting) did!
From the Kickstarter backers to Editor, Gareth Fient to the various people willing to speak with us on camera. Not just that though, also Director of Photography Marc Wiercioch and literally a team of talented camera operators. Speaking of teams, how about the stable of talented animators across the world (literally) that worked on the film or the many Assistance League individuals across multiple chapters? That would still leave out Colorist Dean Otusanya Wood and composer Erick Schroder plus another team (yes, literally) of sound recorders, engineers, and designers!
People who gave their energy, their talents, their money, and their precious time... and in the case of Producers Ann Benson and Ettore Giovanni Zuccarelli, all of the above!
No, this documentary is not made official by the poster, it’s made by the year and a half of time, by the dollars spent, by writing and research and phone calls and emails and references and planning and driving and conversations...
The film is made possible because of a community of truly amazing individuals that are involved.
Facebook won’t let me tag everyone, but I tried to share a sampling... please check them out and our IMDb page for the full list!!
I can’t wait share more than our poster very soon!
