💗✨ Aphrodite’s Altar Diaries: Love Spell 001 – Call It In, Honey ✨💗

subtitle: a soft + spicy ritual to open the door, not force it shut

Hey babes,

This is my first entry in what I’m calling my Aphrodite’s Altar Diaries, a digital spellbook-slash-love-letter to those of you walking with Her, calling in connection, or just curious about a little divine romance. 🌹

Recently, I did a love spell—both for myself and for a friend.

You can totally use this for a specific person (yes, your SP, whether it’s your crush, your ex, your favorite idol, your local barista) or to just call in love in general. You’re not forcing anything this isn’t a puppet spell. It’s more like opening a window and saying, “Hey universe, I’m ready to meet this person. Let us vibe and see where it leads.”

If it’s not meant to work out, it won’t, but now you’ll know rather than wonder.

Aphrodite’s magic is soft and clear like that. She opens the door but doesn’t push anyone through it.

💕 What You’ll Need (and Why)

This is a burning bowl-style spell, and you probably already have most of the ingredients in your kitchen.

🕯️ You’ll need:

A fire-safe bowl or mini cauldron

A charcoal tab (or just burn it outside if needed!)

A cute cup or bowl for mixing (mine’s a Hello Kitty blind bag find—Aphrodite loves cute shit)

A teaspoon or something small to mix with💗

🌿 The herbs & flowers (use what you have don’t stress):

Jasmine flowers – opens the heart chakra and draws in love

Bay leaves – for manifestation and connection

Rosemary – forgotten love herb! Passion + loyalty + clarity

Lavender buds – soothing, calming, brings ease into love

Rose petals – obviously, Queen Aphrodite’s favorite

Lemon balm – calming + sweet energy (burn-only, don’t ingest random ones off Amazon)

Peppermint – love + healing (calling in the healed version of someone is key!)

Thyme – purification + healing + courage

Dill – love, lust, spice. Because you don’t want lukewarm affection

Mugwort – psychic clarity + enchantment

Black pepper – adds kick + speed to spells

Cinnamon – attraction + power + sweetness ( also speeds up the spell)

Coriander seeds – for longevity, connection, and emotional openness

Fennel seeds – protection + clarity

💡 Pro tip from my kitchen witch aunt (a green witch through and through):

Cook with intention. Even tea can be a spell if you brew it with a purpose.

🩷 Optional (But Powerful): Personal Taglock

This one might sound weird to some, but hear me out—hair.

Hair, nails, teeth (yes, teeth), anything from your body is energetically you. I grew up in a household where we never let others keep our hair, and burned it instead. Your hair holds your essence. Including a piece in a love spell binds the spell to you.

I usually use a few strands I naturally shed when detangling or washing my curls.

🔥 The Ritual (Spell Time!)

1. Mix all your ingredients in your cute little bowl or cup.

2. Light the charcoal tab (if using) and place it in your cauldron or fire-safe bowl.

3. Once it starts crackling, pour your mix on top and let it burn.

4. While it’s burning, speak your intention aloud. Or use this:

“I open the road. I align.

This love is divine.

No fear, no bind, no weight in my chest.

Just truth, just love, just soul at rest.

Bring forth the path where we both are free,

And call [his/their] spirit back to me.”

Feel free to replace “his/their” with a name or leave it general if you're manifesting new love. This spell works either way.

Let it burn out completely. The charcoal will go for a while. You can:

Toss the cooled ashes into a plant, garden, or park

Store them in a jar until you can return them to nature

Or toss them into the wind if you’re up high enough (like my aunt’s 16th-floor balcony facing the river—perfect spot)

🐚 Aphrodite Said Share It, So I Am

I actually wasn’t planning to post this. But while meditating with Aphrodite after doing this spell with my friend, She leaned in and gave me a soft little nudge:

“You should share this. Some of your people need it right now.”

So if this post found you, maybe it was Her. Maybe you're meant to try this. Maybe your SP needs help removing the mental junk and toxic fog from their life. Maybe you just need to remember that your love life isn’t cursed it's just been blocked.

This spell gently clears the path. For you, for them, for whatever’s meant to unfold.
