APEGNB Assessment is a technique applied to evaluate the credentials of engineers who received their education and professional experience outside of Canada. The assessment will be carried out to check if the engineers are qualified to an extent acceptable to APEGNB. This is, in most cases, an essential step before any engineering preparation by internationally educated engineers in the New Brunswick area.

The 2013 Haunted Tour at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, in partnership with the Fredericton Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick, is in its planning stages and seeks theatrical involvement. This is an official call out to join our cast of volunteers for the Annual Haunted Tour (October 2013, 4 - 5 evenings) which is a fabulously successful annual fundraising event. The APEGNB members are the driving force behind this wonderful event and they donate loads of time and energy to make the Charlotte Street Arts Centre a damn scary old place. Last year we brought in other nonprofit groups to volunteer for the event, and some of the funds raised were then donated to their organizations etc. ie. Engineers w/o Boarders, UNB Theatre Dept., Worlds UNBound, etc. We're looking for some specific talents including theatrics. The creativity and collaborative nature of this event make it really stand out. It's your creative oyster, and a chance to promote your group, organization or individual freaky idea, in a wildly popular community event. The Haunted House brings in all walks of life, even people who rarely go to the theatre, so it's a great opportunity to spread the power of performance, collaborative creativity, and scare the pants off people. We're having our first meeting on June 11 from 12-1pm in the Auditorium at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, so please come if you can.
