So I was just making fun of Dan and Phil for the fact that they were SO careful about some things, and painfully obvious about others, especially, their bed.
From TATINOF to ApartmentRED to WITL, anytime they filmed their bed, it was ABUNDANTLY clear someone had gotten out to film.
And then my friend wrote in the Milennial+ Discord:

Way to take something funny and make it heartbreaking and romantic.
Just like with WDAPTEO, it doesn't register as coupley cause it just is. It's just their reality. Needing to not literally be in bed together is a big enough thing, but why would Dan need to move his pillow? Why would the covers need to be up? If Dan left the bed obviously his side of the bed would be visible, obviously his pillow would be there. It's too small and normal a detail to even notice.
Cool, now I'm crying.
