#apartment warning

Please read. I posted a review on ApartmentReviews.com also. This may help someone else, so please share. This place is unsafe. While I am thankful for a roof over my head I think they could’ve provided better considering the cost of the place. Maybe I am just being a brat… These small apartments are about $1200 a month btw. This could be triggering.

"If you have low standards, enjoy sleepless nights, death threats, freezing your butt off, and poor hygiene, this is the place for you! I was miserable here. It’s WAY over priced for what the quality is. Shoddy plumbing, incompetent maintence, three of my neighbors have full on mice infestations and the office could care less. They claim it is not an emergency and we should handle it on our own since they’re “just field mice.” Well okay! Oh and one of my neighbors is pregnant… I am sure all the vermin and mouse poo in her apartment is super safe for her fetus. She found three mice in her bed while she was trying to sleep… And several dead ones inside her walls. She has reported this place to the state. But I was lucky, they only nested in my stove! I didn’t cook on any of the holidays because I didn’t want to smell their charred little bodies and the rat poison they put INSIDE the stove. Heated up rat poison is safe right???

I had a woman from another building threaten to shoot and kill me with her gun for no reason, obviously she has a mental health issuse, she spends most of her day shouting at people from her window….but a gun is a gun and I reported her to the office and they said “oh she is just joking her gun isn’t even loaded.” So they are previously aware of her actually owning a gun….

And the heat… It’s January and I have the heat on and my living room and it is a toasty forty six degrees….if you have children I sugest you bundle them up and hope for the best.

Allergy sufferers beware! The crumbling walls, constant smell of cigarettes and cheap weed waft into my apartment all day. Add in the creepy black mold on and around all my windows. And the faint scent of urine that fills the hallways. My allergies have been so bad since living here…even my dog is on allergy medicine.

Oh let’s not forget the “fitness center” which is a dark musty room with broken equipment that seems to be from the seventies. And nothing to clean the “vintage” machines after use. And the laundry facilities, I went once and I found a creep smelling other people’s underwear. Awesome. I decided to rent my own machines after that. I didn’t feel safe around that guy, who also enjoyed watching TV in the “fitness center” until early in the morning. If you’re a female, and he still lives here, he WILL bother you, follow you, and ask to come inside your apartment.

If these apartments are in such poor condition and start at $1100 a month, WHAT are they doing with our money?
