Aka big crash outs were had bc my Misplaced notes were such a mess I had to completely rewrite them and ended up with 17 FUCKING CHAPTERS PLANNED FOR???? Longest arc in the entire story istg

it'll never not be funny to me to just randomly check where i am in the masterfile for apaf and seeing how badly this file has been evolving throughout the writing of this fic. it's about a year old at this point and when i first finished it, it was at 45 pages and i thought it was as complete as ill ever need it. it's now at 58 and it's still painfully incomplete and new lore still has to be added into the upcoming arcs so this already massive file is still going to expand and quite possibly reach 60-65 pages

like i started this fic out with just some random scenes and a handfull of plotpoints. started the story at episode 11 of season 1 and eventually diverted so badly from the original files i had to rebuild the entire plot and keep this mess updated. the way it just keeps evolving and growing is both mesmerising and killing me slowly bc so many things set up in the early parts need to be remembered and resolved by the end that it's just an ever growing monster of a file and fic shoutout to Misplaced for literally being 16 and a bit pages long on it's own. no doubt arcs like Performance will grow as well as the others that need more fleshing out before i can actually write them.

next time any masterfile updates be given will be, it should be both bigger and better arc-cut since there currently is like a 3 week period under one arc while in reality it is a 1a, 2, 1b situation going on there. i just hadnt had the mental capacity to rework the file yet but im hoping to at least have that done by the end of the week.

this shit is so far from over and there's still so much to experiance but ancients have we come far already and i genuinly cant wait to share the glorious mess with everybody. i currently have my chapters planned out until 104, the ending for the Image arc. anything after that is still in it's raw bullet point glory so i cant even tell how many more chapters are to come beyond 'a lot' images depicting the current page of the file im on + the arcs in the file itself
