Saber and Shirou's differing takes on Kiritsugu are great because with the Master/Servant shared dreams thing F/SN does, Shirou experiences the colder side of Kiritsugu Saber saw at the same time as Saber experiences him as Shirou did.
Shirou has to confront the more complicated picture of who his dad was while Saber sees why Shirou speaks of him so fondly...
YESSS, I'm on UBW right now but seeing this happen in the Fate route and seeing how both of them have to face different sides to Kiritsugu is so intriguing (also, the dream sharing causing Artoria to misunderstand Shirou too, and thinking he would wish the same as her is so fun)
I love shared dreams, honestly one of my favorite concepts in Fate, there's so much that can be done with it
