There are actually many teams that had beautiful matching lines, because such lines were required in compulsory dances, and in the old days, teams were required to compete up to 3 different compulsories at a single competition. Off the top of my head, Klimova/Ponomorenko (the inventors of the Golden Waltz) and Torvill/Dean are examples. I recommend anon go back and watch old compulsories to get a handle on those old teams.

i stand by what i said, however, that vm has/had the best lines of any ice dance team, including the ones you mentioned in this and your other message (usova and zhulinโs ravensberger) like you said, you mostly only saw lines like that in compulsory dances while vm had Lines in all their programs, and itโs not just their feet but their arms and hands and finger tips and everything they use to create constant and consistent pictures with their bodies
old compulsory dances are some of my fav stuff to watch, it is so interesting seeing the differences in teams and style to how patterns are done now! i recommend any and all ice dance fans to go back and watch some compulsory dances โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
