And the only research I could find is base on immigration law, but leave it to Kim Kardashian to try to convince everyone otherwise. So how to prove your marriage was a fraud perpetrated by the other party....truth is it is easier to work this puzzle from the other end. If one were to prove a relationship was true they would have to prove the following (once again, there are only immigration standards, because no one has made a law enforcing the rules and regulations of reality stars.) Kim and Kris did not have any of these so it leads me to believe in the precedent set before them in immigration marriage fraud. A marriage certificate and proof of termination of all prior marriages are required to support a spousal petition. Documents to help show that a marriage is bona fide include proof of joint ownership of property; evidence of joint tenancy of a common residence; joint bank accounts and other proof of commingling of assets; shared debts and expenses; birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to the parties; and affidavits by third parties having personal knowledge of the marriage. Greater scrutiny results when there is a lack of bona fide marriage documents, especially when the marriage is new. Other factors that may be causes for concern are Separations, separate residences, adultery, and other signs of a troubled marriage are also red flags, even though they do not necessarily mean the marriage is a sham. The husband and wife must be able to answer questions about each other's personal history, families, employment, and other issues related to their marriage. Longer marriages in which the parties have children together usually make the strongest cases. Now was Kris Humphries kind of a jerk? Of course he was. However if he can prove the marriage was a sham, then he is entitled to assets obtained during their relationship, no matter what the prenuptial agreement which  from what I understand did not include an annulment  (including a $300,000 Ferrari given to the both of them as a wedding present.)  Humphries meets all the prerequisites that imply this marriage was a fabrication.  Kris and Kim did not live together in a house, other than shacking up for a reality show, they did not own property together, bank accounts were separate, no children together, the fact she is a reality star and got married just in time for a season finale on her show and divorced just in time for the next season premiere makes me lead even more towards Kris Humphries claim to be accurate. Plus to go to one more step, it has been suggested and one would argue proven certain scenes were taped and staged with Kris (Jenner) and Kim on a sound stage to create more of a storyline leading to the divorce. Given this account, if I was hurt, and found out I was used for a reality show, then I would be pretty freaking' mad as well. One thing for sure, If Kris gets his way and this matter is held in court (instead of private mediation)and made public, it could hurt the Kardashian brand, which brings me to a final point for a family who does everything in front of the cameras. If the Kardashians want to end speculation this was not a publicity stunt then a public courtroom is the only way to do that. Otherwise, pay Kris Humphries whatever he wants and sign a no disclosure agreement, because Kris is not going to back down.  Kris is owed a public apology for the humiliation he was put through.
