Anubix was a Jackal-like Makuta of Shadow who served under Makuta Sethix’s rule. His responsibility was to deconstruct the deceased, making their parts ready for reuse when remade into new beings, as well as burying a few if they preferred.

Because of his job, Anubix excelled in anatomy and reverse engineering, in times where he needed to do a forensic study on a deceased Matoran who was killed seemingly out of nowhere, and for when he had to reverse engineer various machines he did not understand the mechanics of.

Unlike Sethix and his partner Potisi, Anubix was neutral, and had no vengeful motivation. It was his neutral nature that caused him to be completely disregarded by Sethix later on, as he refused to help him take Toa Osiro apart.

Makuta Sethix

Makuta Sethix was an Aardvark-like Makuta with Psionic powers who had ruled Northern Duanja during the United Era. He ruled alongside his mate Makuta Nephtyx (will post later) and his best friend Toa Osiro, who ruled Southern Duanja. Some of his advisors and guardians were Makuta Potisi and Makuta Anubix (will post later).

Makuta Sethix had ruined his reputation as ruler during the Great Divide after Spirit of Shadow Kraatus-Hadrix had betrayed Avtok-Jukal, the Spirit of Light. Sethix was inspired by Hadrix to betray Toa Osiro by brutally killing him and scattering his body parts all over Duanja. As punishment for his actions, Sethix was defeated by Makuta Horux (will post later), in which he was killed.
