Eshy’la circled around array of lights she’d never seen before. Twelve stars had appeared as if from nowhere into the universe. Using her elbows, the elf lifted herself up as if she could bring the starry band closer to inspect. Her eyes moved from one to the other, following the trail up and down in jagged shape. She gasped and touched her own face. She knew these marks, not those of the sky but those that adorned her face. Some way, somehow, the Mark of the Serpent had been stitched into the night sky, beaming more fiercely than any of the others. Bewildered, she retraced then over and over, thinking she had been mistaken and these were just random dotted stars that had no meaning. But the curved lines that created two distinct elven marking continued to glimmer within the black. She reclined, unable so much as blink as she pondered how this new constellation could possibly be there. How had Azeroth created this, or who could have the assets to change her? And then she knew.

“Illidan.”

Golganneth dragged his mighty blade across the sky like a quill swooping words over parchment. Shaping the universe was somewhat of child’s play and this simple gesture has been as easy as taking a short walk on a spring morning. Silver sparks flew from the sword as it cut into the blackened heavens, fizzling out as quickly as they had been made. It took mere moments to change the earth below for all time and was done with ease. He turned to his companion and nodded a silent confirmation that the task had been done.

“Thank you, Lord of Skies. Your gesture is most appreciated.”

“I do not see why you would ask this of me. But it was a small request. What will you be calling your new constellation?” His companion gave a nostalgic grin.
