A âbig-namedâ rh fan recently caught wind of my Twitter conversation with a fellow mh fan. The exchange was a little over than half a month ago and yes, it was anti-rh. Of course, I used the shortcut for the name of their ship and no, I didnât tag it.
And alas! She took a screenshot of the conversation and feasted on it with her friends. I donât know if somebody just shared it with her or whatever. Iâm actually pretty amazed they found it after so long. You know that tweets get easily buried even in a day if you post or re-tweet A LOT. I do and even her, my fellow mh (she tweets A LOT). I only have a few followers and my anti-rh post (that started our conversation) only had a few re-tweets.
I never visited the page of that big-named rh fan to read the entire thread so I saw only screenshots mocking our conversation by apparently trying so sooooo hard to debunk MH and criticizing my fellow mh. They didnât even bother blurring out our account names but thatâs beside the point. The funny things are:
(1)Theyâve gotten themselves feel attacked by deliberately browsing through an OLD post. (2) They criticized the person involved. (3) They COUNTERED by making fun of how we interpret MH canon facts.
I can say notp attacks are pretty normal but Iâd wish theyâd give a solid backing of facts when they TRY to pull MH down while TRYING to put their otp on a pedestal. Try. At least give a GOOD rebuttal. I guess they canât because what we said were all true. Simply insulting the poster is pure bs.
But then again, if you know youâll get hurt, why dig through old tweets? I wonder.
Iâm a whiner as a fan and irl. Iâve always introduced myself as an anti-rh and never crossed-tag to shoo away uninvited people. So if your eyes somehow caught a glimpse of my âattacksâ, itâs not my fault anymore. If you want to prove me wrong, by all means, BUT I hope you present me facts to convince me.
