It’s you and Ominis who just can’t understand!” Well, maybe his anger has increased since they found that relic, but if maybe he’s PARANOID. If he told her about this, she’ll tell him to get rid of it, and he needs to find a way to use it to cure Anne. He stops walking and looks at her. “Listen. I’m on your side, okay ? I just... I need to do all I can to save her. I lost my parents already. I can’t lose Anne. I just can’t.” 

she isn't wrong and that's the thing that sort of infuriates taissa. this woman was so strange, like she was from another world. "okay, so maybe they do have their own strength. i just think that everything about you is kind of....soft looking." it isn't even meant to come across as mean, but it's such a quick reaction that she feels bad for a moment. "in a good way though. but you aren't scary."

“Listen, I know that relic can be dangerous, but what if it’s the only way ?” He feels like he’s repeating himself, and he probably is, but if there’s one person who can understand him, that’s surely her. “I’ll be careful, I always -- “ He couldn’t finish his sentence, though, because Mariette surprises him with a kiss right on his lips. He kisses her back, smiling like an idiot. It’s like his concerns had suddenly vanished, but he doubts it’ll stay this way. “You wanted me to stop talking ?” He teases, still smiling way too much. 

He shrugs at her question. Why is she asking this ? What does it mean ? “No, not really,” he replies before he scratches his neck. It’s not entirely true, but it’s not entirely false either. “What about you ?”
