so, you recently got your autism diagnosis? welcome to the club we are cool and sexy as fuck. i was diagnosed at a very young age but no one told me until i was 16 so that was fun :)
ohhh nooooo i suspect something similar happened to me though lmao. i remember being assessed for... something... when i was about 5 or 6 but my parents told me everything was fine and i was totally normal and then i ended up having the most autistic of childhoods and early adulthood and spending decades believing i was inherently broken and unloveable and defective. so that was also fun :)
anyway it's obviously been a learning curve and i've had to rethink a lot about myself and how i get on in the world but overall it's a relief to finally realise why i am Like This. and also to get confirmation that i'm not [enter whatever derogatory thing my parents/teachers/"friends" have said about me over the years] and there's nothing wrong with me at all. i am literally just autistic and for some reason a lot of people are just very rude about that. probably because i have a bigger dick.
