My family tells me don’t make a scene

Tell me you assholes what the hell does that mean

I read and read for worlds made equal

Where no ones oppressed and everyone’s people

Worlds where everyone’s plates and glasses are full

A universe where greed isn’t natural

But these worlds aren’t real

People kill, lie, and steal

Without regard to how others may feel

What if everyone could afford a meal?

It’s our job to strive for this

Try to not let anyone else die for this

Spread love and care BECAUSE of this

And as hate runs wild we need to remember this

No longer will we just scream in the void

Or say that the news makes us “annoyed”

Remember my friends we aren’t just anthropoid

We are human, we can change, we need to change

Justice for Floyd

So we hung a pride flag at my high school, for the first week of June and a bunch of my friends went to go the raising of the flag. Naturally, we got photos in front of the flag and the school posted that on their website. It was taken down within the hour over the concern “that the students in the photo would receive negative backlash if the photo was seen by other students”.

It’s okay to be gay

It’s okay to be trans

It’s okay to be a person of color

It’s okay to be a woman

It’s also okay

Non minority

It’s okay to be straight

It’s okay to be cis

It’s okay to be white

It’s okay to be a man.

Don't lose this month in rainbow capitalism and unabashed racism because of the privilege of being white while queer.

If you aren't supporting the queer people of color, trans women, and queer sex workers, you aren't celebrating pride, you are celebrating rainbow capitalism and police brutality.
