from the very beginning [of shippuden maybe] it's obvious that hinata will get naruto the animators made it obvious :(
Well SP definitely made a mess of things, but I think it's the Pain arc that really showed their true colors and intentions, when they had one panel of Hinata flying in the air after a shinra tensei and they adapted it to an actual fight where she seems to actually do something and look brave and cool, but in the manga none of that is there.
Hinata doesn't even exist until the chunin exams while SP added her from episode 3 to the anime, making people believe she was an important character, when in reality she was always just a small side character.

In the manga, Suigetsu agrees to go with Sasuke in the beginning. Not after. Not while he swims in a lake?? Zabuza's blade was at the grave in the manga but for some reason, it's not in the anime??? What was the point of that change? It just drags out random stuff... Like them eating in a yogurt shop was necessary?
They created a random Sasuke and Karin rounding up prisoners scene? Seriously?
They create random scenes like this, random fillers, but we don't get Sasuke smiling after he cheers up Sakura at the beginning of the Chunin Exams? We don't get a zoom of Sasuke grabbing Sakura's hand as he's in pain from the curse mark? We don't see Sasuke shake as Sakura's confessing her love for him before he leaves. We don’t get Sakura breaking off a horn of Kaguya?
Please SP EXPLAIN how you can cut those scenes out that would only be minuscule to animate compared to creating a whole new episode.
If you still think SP isn’t biased. You’re blind. They’re treating it like a cash grab instead of being faithful to the original source material.
Ugh. When I heard we were getting an episode where Chocho and Inojin were practicing the mind transfer jutsu, I foolishly thought we’d get more insight into the Yamanaka clan. Instead we get poor Chocho clawing at a bag of potato chips like a zombie while Inojin psychically “restrains” her. Apparently Chocho is not allowed to have any screen time that doesn’t involve potato chip puns.
It may be a small thing which many may not have noticed but
If you look closely, you will see how Sasuke's sad eyes were depicted in the manga which were never shown in the anime.
This actually makes a BIG difference in the characterisation of Sasuke if you ask me.
In the manga version, everybody can easily see how pained Sasuke looks just because of this whole mission
Whereas the anime Sasuke simply feels "emotionless" here.
This is the difference in the characterization of Sasuke by Kishi and SP.
Kishi's Sasuke is a LOT MORE EMOTIONAL here than the anime counterpart according to his "suffering father" fate as mentioned in the gaiden unlike anime where he seems to be simply enjoying the whole mission and a bipolar.

It is starting to feel like SP is just reusing the whole Naruto series and just tweaking the story line a bit. Like seriously? Mission that was originally supposed to be a D rank but it turns out the asker is lying. Small town with little income that is dependant on the bridge. Enemy is looking for control over the bridge. This all seems like a Land of Waves Arc rip off. Can’t they create something original for once? I mean I love the idea of Boruto and will still continue to watch, but I feel there is absolutely 0 creativity being put into this.
How do you feel about Sasuke's recent appearance? I'm pretty sure Sasuke died and was replaced by an impostor at around Sasuke Shinden .. He's lost his spikes along with his spirit and what's the deal with those doe eyes? The style? Why would you do this to the best looking character in the entire series.
I replied to a similar ask here.
(anti-ending, anti-SS &kid under the cut.)
I actually like Shinden Sasuke’s appearance very much. His spiky hair, his eye covered by a long band, his all black clothing, his dark attitude. It reflects well what I think, that he has been brainwashed and submitted, that he’s bound to Konoha and Naruto by force, through guilt, and inside he still thinks about his beloved brother, and he’s still living for him. Only, he thinks he’s doing what Itachi wanted, now that he became Konoha’s slave. It’s sad and horrible for someone like Sasuke, but it’s how I see canon, Shinden especially, with Orochimaru’s talk to him in the boat, confirmed this for me.
I liked his design in The Last, that headband keeping his longer hair ruly, but still messy as if the spikes would pop up if he removed it. I also kinda liked his look when he was beside Naruto in the B*ruto movie, from the gifs I saw, because he’s slender and graceful and deadly, as opposed to Naruto’s kinda buff build.
Aesthetically speaking I like his adult self…sometimes. Even though I prefer his spiky hair. I haven’t watched the whole B*ruto movie or the anime so I know bits and pieces from gifs on my dash (still disappointed to see that apparently no one does Sasuke gifsets without SS/kids attached. But I’m not that surprised, since it shows what fans are interested in, not Sasuke himself and not him with Taka, only that crappy pairing and useless kid).
Now he’s got a mellow look that makes him look dead inside, which I think is how he feels. His hair are down, like his spirit indeed. But still, aesthetically speaking only, these don’t make him look worse.
What bothers me more is the square chin. He and Naruto got these blocky square chins, probably SP decided it’s the sign of adulthood, even though adult characters like Madara, Obito and Kakashi (who’s also known to be a handsome man, which is a common trait with Sasuke) have a pointed chin. At least Naruto’s chin has always been more angular, like Hashirama, so it makes sense, even though he looks ugly as an adult, and he looked better in Shinden and The Last. Instead it totally ruins Sasuke, it’s just not for him. He’s Madara’s descendant so he should have kept his facial structure, his beauty has been remarked on countless occasions, and he’s supposed to be Naruto’s opposite, so while Naruto is power, tanned skin, strong features, Sasuke has always been speed, pale skin and delicate features that pain sharpened enough to make him look haunted, like he is in Shinden or in the Last.
At least he seems thinner than Naruto in the new stuff, which gives me that haunted impression.
Anyway I wrote a fic where, among other things, Sasuke is replaced with a Zetsu who lives canon events, while the real one is in my AU, so I kinda know how you feel.
