Anthraxx - Now On Kicksarter

Anthraxx, the pixel-art multiplayer mech shooter, is now on Kickstarter. We wrote about Anthraxx some time ago, and the lead developer recently reached out to let us know about their new Kickstarter project. At the time of writing, they’ve raised just over €450, of their €30,000 goal.

The games Kickstater trailer is available on YouTube. If you want to try the games demo, it’s available through the chrome browser, on their website. The developers appear very passionate about their project which seems a rare gem with assest flip games and shit simulator games on Steam Greenlight.

Upcoming free massively multiplayer isometric mech shooter

  Antraxx announces its beta launch for October 2016, allowing users to get a head start on testing out fully customizable giant mechs, acquiring land to start and expand your faction, and cementing your power by defending yourself in the neverending war that is Antraxx. The multiplayer alpha demo is currently available on Antraxx.com.

Antraxx is a perfect example of a next generation cross-platform indie game, allowing users to play through their browser, mobile, and on Steam. The idea is to open up the world of indie games to a broader audience with this large-scale free to play game. With Antraxx’s steadily growing fanbase and enthusiastic support from giant gaming portal Kongregate, the creators’ goal for a more varied, wider indie gamer base is not far away.
