Canadian photographer Anthony Patrick Manieri very graciously invited me to participate in his project called “Arrested Movement” (A photographic series promoting and celebrating positive body image for men) so a couple of weekends ago I went to Los Angeles and met him at a studio in the Flower District near downtown. It was an interesting experience to be dancing totally naked in a large open space. I was uncomfortable at first, but after a couple of minutes I began to feel very free and open, and thanks to some well-chosen music, I eventually lost track of the camera, the studio, the lights and even Anthony, and I found my groove (right where I left it!).
There are a lot of really awesome men who are involved in this project (such as @titaniumcubbery, @westcub86 and @thehadrianx to name just a few) and there’s a really great article about it here. I am absolutely ecstatic to have been allowed to be a part of it, and I hope others will share in the good thing Anthony is trying to do here... :)
